ALSAIF Law Firm Welcomes KOTRA and the Embassy of the Republic of Korea

ALSAIF Law Firm was honored to welcome a distinguished delegation from KOTRA and the Embassy of the Republic of Korea to our office.

The delegation included Ms. CHOI Shin-Hye, First Secretary of the Embassy of the Republic of Korea, Mr. Dong-Joon Cho, Head of Commercial Attaché (KOTRA), and Mr. Mustafa Aljawad and Ms. Sama Adnan, Senior Managers at KOTRA.

The visit reflects the strong and longstanding relationship between ALSAIF Law Firm and Korean institutions, a collaboration that proudly dates back to 2007.

The meeting focused on strengthening cooperation between ALSAIF Law Firm, KOTRA, and the Korean Embassy, and on further supporting Korean businesses operating and investing in Iraq.

Discussions covered the evolving Iraqi legal framework, key regulatory and operational challenges faced by foreign investors, and practical legal solutions to facilitate smoother market entry and business continuity for Korean companies.

Both sides also explored ways to enhance institutional coordination, provide legal awareness for foreign investors, and create more structured channels of support for Korean enterprises in sectors such as energy, construction, trade, and infrastructure.
